Dr. Blake Isbell

Dr. Blake Isbell was born and raised in Fort Payne, graduating from Fort Payne High School in 1971. He attended Auburn University 1971-1975 and then the University of Alabama School of Medicine from 1975-1979, graduating with honors (Alpha Omega Alpha). He completed his Ob/Gyn training at Caraway Methodist Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama in 1983, serving as Chief Resident.

He began his Ob/Gyn practice in Fort Payne in 1983, joining his father and uncle with Isbell Clinic. He has continued to practice in the current Isbell Medical Group for 36 years. Dr. Blake has retired from OB, but continues to see Gyn patients.

Dr. Blake is a member of the First State Bank board of directors. His hobbies include fishing, reading (especially history) and coin collecting.
